The following paragraph is going to irritate a lot of people:
I did not like “Watch The Throne”. In fact, I thought it was bad. Neither Jay-Z nor Kanye West impressed me. The songs were consistently over-produced, which made it difficult to concentrate on the lyrics. The music was largely aimless and anti-climactic. The lyrics were too one-dimensional to hold my attention. The album was generally flat and forgettable. I did not like it.
Naturally, I need more substance to go with my position. Unfortunately, my space here is limited. Fortunately, I have my own blog where I discuss musical matters.
