Show of the season, maybe? This Thursday, L.A.’s own lo-fi wizard and sage Ariel Pink and his band Haunted Graffiti will be playing with brazilian tropicalia/garage rock legends, Os Mutantes. All I can say is: I want to go to there. Ariel Pink is always worth seeing; his most recent album was full of spectacular songwriting even your dad would like. Os Mutantes holds a place in my heart as the best show I have ever seen. Get yourself there. Tickets ~$30 with fees, @ The Music Box, 8pm, this thursday the 2nd December.
