Welcome back! We’re proud to announce our first event of the year, a collaboration with our buds at Oxy’s amazing Black Student Alliance, RAW Records, the ever-resilient kids who help you record your own music, and Feast Magazine, Oxy’s glossy-paged literary and arts magazine. This open mic is open to everything, just as our three organizations are. We’re imagining music, poetry, comedy, short stories, and anything else you could slam into a short performance, but we’re open to fresh ideas. And if you’re not inclined to perform, make sure you come out to support! There will also be donuts 🙂 The open mic will be hosted by Jacinda Bullie and Jaquanda Villegas of Kummba Lynx (http://www.kuumbalynx.com/).
The open mic will be on February 9th at 6PM on the Mary Norton Clapp Library Patio.
